At MO:PR, I put in action my journalistic background and my creative thinking to make news and find new channels to communicate the Brand to French consumers.

MO:PR is the PR division of The Montreal Office founded by Joann Patenaude 15 years ago. JoAnn has worked in Advertising in New York, Toronto and Montreal for over 20 years. Most of her work as well as the success she has enjoyed has been on packaged goods accounts, although she has serviced a broad range of other types of businesses: airline, automotive, government, retail, to name a few. She is considered to be strong on creative solutions, product positioning, problem solving; a leader and motivator of people.
The Montreal Office provides French Creative services, Public Relations and broadcast production. The business model was to help clients outside Quebec with a simple communication strategy for Quebec.

Stuff I Like

In a way just like garments are an extension of our skin, the car is an extension of our legs. So the creatives for Volks produced a spot that presents a nice twist on the old «dogs looks like their owners.» But clearly the director went for the comedic effect and failed to elevate the message. Conversely, the use of this type of humour, reflects perfectly the target market.
